01 Our approach
This Privacy Policy explains how TNZ Digital, LLC ("TNZ Digital," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal information when you visit tnzdigital.co (the "Site"), contact us, or engage our services. It applies to information about visitors, prospects, and clients.
It does not cover the personal information we process on behalf of clients as part of running their marketing campaigns. In that role we act as a service provider, and the client's own privacy policy governs that data. This policy is about the information we collect for our own purposes.
02 Information we collect
Information you give us
When you fill out a form, request a Growth Audit, start a web chat, email, or call us, you may share:
- Contact details: name, business name, email address, phone number;
- Business context: your website, industry, current marketing, budget range, and what you're trying to achieve;
- Anything else you choose to tell us in messages, calls, or documents you send.
Information we collect automatically
When you use the Site, we and our tools automatically collect technical and usage data, including:
- Device and browser type, operating system, and screen settings;
- IP address and general location (typically city/region level);
- Pages viewed, links clicked, time on page, and referring URLs;
- Identifiers set by cookies and similar technologies.
We collect this through tools like Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), advertising tags and web pixels, and our web-chat and form platform. See Cookies & tracking and our Cookie Policy for the full list.
04 How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and provide the Growth Audit or services you ask for;
- Set up, deliver, and support our engagements with clients;
- Send you standard (transactional) and marketing communications (see below);
- Operate, secure, and improve the Site and our offerings;
- Measure and optimize our own marketing and advertising;
- Keep records, and comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations;
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, or security issues.
05 Marketing & communications consent
By using our web chat or emailing us, you agree to receive both standard and marketing emails from TNZ Digital. Standard emails relate to your inquiry, account, or services; marketing emails share offers, insights, and updates. You can opt out of marketing messages any time via the unsubscribe link, and we'll continue to send only the standard messages needed to handle your request.
If we send SMS messages, standard message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to opt out. We never sell your contact details to third parties for their own marketing.
07 Analytics & advertising
We use analytics and advertising technologies to understand how people find and use the Site and to reach the right audiences with our own marketing. These may include GA4, Google Tag Manager, the Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising tags, the Meta Pixel, and similar tools. Through them, partners may set cookies and receive information such as your device identifiers, pages viewed, and actions taken.
You can limit much of this:
- Opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, and manage Google ad personalization in your Google account settings;
- Adjust ad preferences on Meta and other platforms in their settings;
- Use the cookie controls described in our Cookie Policy and your browser's privacy settings.
08 Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above: to respond to you, deliver and support services, meet legal and accounting requirements, and resolve disputes. When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymize it. Retention periods vary by data type; for example, we keep client records for the length of the engagement plus any period required by law.
09 Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, including the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate information;
- Delete your information, subject to legal exceptions;
- Opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or certain profiling;
- Receive a copy of certain information in a portable format.
Florida residents may have rights under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights, and residents of other states (such as California, Colorado, and Virginia) may have similar rights under their own laws. To exercise any right, email us at info@tnzdigital.co. We'll verify your request, respond within the timeframe required by law, and never discriminate against you for exercising a right. You may also appeal a decision by replying to our response.
10 Do Not Track & opt-out signals
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting or a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. There's no industry-standard for DNT, but where required by law we honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as GPC as a request to opt out of targeted advertising for your browser or device.
11 Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including limiting access, using reputable vendors, and securing accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly if something goes wrong.
12 Children's privacy
The Site and our services are intended for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under the age set by applicable law). If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
13 Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites and tools we don't control. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read their policies. We're not responsible for the content or privacy practices of sites we link to.
14 Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our practices or the law evolve. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above, and material changes take effect when posted. If changes are significant, we'll take reasonable steps to let you know.
